I just had to share this news with my friends that help make these rewarding events happen. I just received a phone call from Jim Weldy of the FEMA Disaster Mortuary Operation Response Team who happens to be from Havana, IL. While he was responding to the disaster on the Biloxi coast after Hurrican Katrina he was given one of the essential oil mosquito repellent blends that the aromatherapy class I teach at Parkland College prepared. He said it worked so well and helped them so much that he wants to purchase some so that he has it available. I also wanted to let you know that Jim mentioned that the massages that he and his team members received from you, Doug and other members of the team were life savers at the end of their long days. This gentleman was very grateful for all of the UAEs efforts and was surprised that he had never heard of us before. It was so gratifying to hear from someone who benefited from the products we prepared and sent. All of you helped us or supported us in this and I am sure as experienced aromatherpist you have all felt this gratifying feeling I have today. As a reltively new aromatherapist, every thank you or positive reaction to what we do still gives me chills!

I really would like to thank everyone from your team for taking care of the personnel assigned to me here in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was great. Thank you for all the foot balm, Lavender/Peppermint mist, Nelson Arnileve, Biofreeze samples. The personnel really appreciated it. I think it is commendable that the UAE is remembering and helping our Heroes even after the rest of the country has returned to a sense of normalcy. While everyone else has gotten on with their lives, and are back to "Business as Usual", these unique, special men and women are still living the nightmare. Thank you all for your contributions to our Brothers at FDNY . (Adoption Sponsor of Engine 226)

This email is quite tardy, but I wanted to express my thanks to your organization for the donated services and supplies. I have been working in south Mississippi for several months since Hurricane Katrina. I am home now and have time to get caught up on everything and a "thank you" to you was on the top of my list. The donated mini-massages and aromatherapy samples were a welcome treat and made the stress a little more bearable during a critical period of time. Please know that many of us were very grateful for your healing hands. Best wishes - Jennifer Dussor
